OKPP was formed in 1999 by a group of concerned professional pet breeders who were interested in pooling their knowledge and helping to educate others in their chosen field of agribusiness. They hoped that by doing this they could produce better pets for the public and help improve the image of the professional pet producer. OKPP is a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the best pet possible. We conduct educational seminars yearly for continued education in pet related fields and produce a yearly directory comprised of the membership and their suppliers and sponsors. We cooperate with the state and federal governments in the development of appropriate legislation. We are devoted to the humane care of pets and we offer an opportunity to exchange ideas and information with others involved in the pet industry.
